For My Radio Friends

You know, now that I think of it, I may have lost my radio mojo when I lost my Koss. The years with something else just didn't quite feel right. If you will notice in the picture below, the date is 1981 and what am I wearing around my neck? Yep, thought so. Last weekend, I decided that if I was going to get back on the air, I might as well go all the way. The package arrived today. They are beautiful.

I'm wondering ... did they provide you with Koss headphones at KY102 or were those your own? I'm guessing that the headphones provided by the station are routinely inferior to Koss. Don't know how equipment is provided (or not provided - maybe you always have to provide your own headphones?) since I'm not a career radio person ...

Pro-4-AA's are the primary reason (along with a little help from REAL loud noises in the Army) that my aging hearing is in the proverbial shi**er. But, boy, did they sound good. I've got two pair that need work...does Koss still do this?
