What's On My Mind*- *Kansas-1976

A Mexican tipping the scales at 1,234 pounds will be listed as the world's fattest man by the Guinness Book of Records, while a loss of 200 kilos (440 pounds) may make him the man who lost the most weight.
"I'm glad to be in the Guinness Book as the fattest man. I am also happy to have lost 200 kilos," Manuel Uribe, 41, told AFP.
Uribe was able to leave his home in Monterrey, northern Mexico in March aboard a trailer to celebrate his weight loss.
Guinness has recognized his weighty achievement with a glass plaque.
"They gave it to me, I have it in my hands," said Uribe, who founded an organization to help overweight people.
Uribe's photograph appears in the 2008 Guinness Book of Records alongside a description of the treatment he has had and offers of surgery he has received.
Uribe said the editor of the book had promised to visit him next year, and held out the possibility of appearing in the 2009 edition as the man who had lost the most weight.
Uribe appeared on television in 2006 seeking help for his excess weight, which has plagued him for more than 20 years, most of which he has spent in bed.

Dude, just back away from the table, please. And walk, yeah do lots of walking. Nothing more needs to be said about this and I'm sorry I grosssssed you out with the picture.
Micheal Vick, fuck you and the thug posse you rode in on. You are everything that's wrong with professional sports. Nothing more likable than an overpaid thug who abuses everything he meets. Women, dogs, hell they are all the same. I really hope you are permanently banned from sports and exiled to a flying bug infested island where, out of some justification by God, superior races makes you appear in some "Human Fighting" operation run by dogs. And you get your face chewed off; yeah that would work only if I could see it. Let me know when tickets go on sale.

Tank Johnson, shaddap! "White people don't understand my culture". Yeah, you are correct. I haven't taken a gun out in public since 1971 on the farm. Yeah, I don't make 5.6 million dollars a year for playing a game. Yeah, I haven't been arrested twice in one year for being a fucking idiot. What is it YOU don't understand Tank? I would think I would have a bit more respect for a job if I made 5.6 million dollars a year. What is it about being a decent person you don't understand? Thug.

This is Pacman Jones. He could have owned Nashville. Great football player with an amazing opportunity to own a city if he only had a brain. Nashburg loved this guy but getting arrested a gazillion times in one year will pretty much seal your fate in conservative Tennessee. Just a bit of humility, maybe a bit of maturity or at least common sense would have served this guy well but alas...a thug.

Words of Wisdom From George Carlin

I don't really know if George Carlin said this or not (I didn't snopes it or anything) but it makes damn fine sense.
George Carlin's Views on Aging
Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions. "How old are you?" "I'm four and a half!" You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the key You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead. "How old are you?" "I'm gonna be 16!" You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life . . you become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony . YOU BECOME 21 . YESSSS!!! But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fun now, you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed? You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 and your dreams are gone. But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60. You didn't think you would! So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60. You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday! You get into your 80's and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn't end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards; "I Was JUST 92." Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. "I'm 100 and a half!" May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay "them."
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
10.Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Random Pictures

I was going through some stuff and found these pictures of Freshman Year UND 2003
This is a picture of touchdown Jesus reflecting off of the pool in front of it. A budding Ansel Adams maybe? Nah, I got lucky.

Cool 80's TShirt

I got this shirt at Kemper Arena, KC spring of 1985. I saw him again in StL about two years later. In 1985, I took an old "girlfriend"(pretty one sided) and her parents to the show. At that time, I was really getting into his stuff after all that time he was in my house growing up. He was incredible. I didn't get the girl but two years later at the Arena, he was pretty bad. I am glad I saw him before he wasn't Frank anymore.

In the spirit of Randy's tee shirts, I would like to give this shout out to one of the true loves of my life, the incredibly gorgeous Bree. Loved and hated her with the heat of a thousand white hot suns. After doing a remote for KY 102 in 1981, I came back to our place and found out she had disposed of all of my collectors T shirts. Shirts that had went all the way back to my first show, Rare Earth, Sugarloaf and Flo&Eddie at the Rock Island Armory May 1972. She wanted to "up" my image. She wanted me to be "GQ"ish. Two drawers of priceless only worn once shirts, from Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes to Elvin Bishop to Summerjam 1977 to a signed Police TShirt all given away to "the needy" in one sad, hot Saturady that summer. She was beautiful, fun, passionate, f#@king tempestuous, and dangerous (she gave me a "cauliflower" ear)at times. I miss those shirts but I would trade every one of them to have you back for your husband and kids. I am sure they miss you. Maybe someday, I'll meet them. Godspeed, girl.

The "Station"

Yeah, yeah, I know it's not a radio "station". Actually, it would be akin to me doing radio in my room as a kid. I did that. A lot. I am sure my sister will weigh in on this one. I have an opportunity through a very small audince, to play what I think should be included on a station catered to me and the people my age. I just went from Robert Plant's "In the Mood" to "Hooked on A Feeling" by BJ Thomas to "Talk Talk" by Talk Talk. Why not? Throw some Metallica and Motown in there and I think it sounds pretty f@*ing cool. I wish I could voice track some of it but it isn't set up that way. That's OK, at least it's free. I'll take any opportunity I can to share the soundtrack of my life. There's a screenplay in those songs but I'll have to wait until the kids get older.
From what I hear, if you have a Mac, there is some kind of problem. I will see if my analytical, highly superior brain can find a solution.

The Rules of Love (with a rebuttal)

1. Getting angry at us for not reading your mind is like getting angry at yourself for not being able to fly. It's not just futile, it's physically impossible.
Definately number one. I hate to guess, there's a 50 percent chance I'll get it wrong

2. Yes, we do think Jessica Alba is hot. Sometimes we're even dumb enough to admit it.
Just cause we are on a diet, that doesn't mean we can't look at the menu.

3. Don't ask us to understand your shoe fetish. Asking us to respect it is even sort of pushing it.
In my pea brain, a whole closet of Reeboks is really too much.

4. You do look good without makeup, just not as good as you look with it.
Sorry, I disagree, nothing finer that a natural woman

5. Ever notice how we don't fight with our male friends? That's why we get so frustrated when we fight with you.
And please fight fair, bringing up junk just to hurt us does.

6. You care what you're wearing infinitely more than we do. In fact, if you're naked when you open the front door, you won't hear an argument from us.
As a matter of fact, I'd make it worth your while.

7. You don't like to get hit on in public, you don't want to date online and you don't want to be set up on blind dates. Tell us if sending messenger pigeons is an appropriate way of courting. Because if it is, we're all over it.
The age old problem, where or where do we meet women?

8. There should a statute of limitations on stupid things that we said that can come back to haunt us. I propose 24 hours.
Nah, two weeks is more like it, I promise I will do that same thing for you.

9. Cooking dinner for a man is like buying flowers for a woman, except it takes a lot more time, effort and thought for you to do it. Thanks. We appreciate it.
In fact, if you are cooking naked, you get extra points

10. We actually like your girly pet-names for us, but please, not in front of the guys!
I don't have a girly pet name: my three have been fine for the last 50 some years.

11. Just because we like looking at the women in Maxim doesn't mean we want to actually converse with the women in Maxim. Not for long, anyway.
Give me experience over "hot" any day.

12. Your nice guy friends are the most reliable source for telling you if your new boyfriend's a jerk. And he probably is. (By the way, you might want to consider marrying that nice guy who's giving you advice about the jerk.)
The best advice of them all.

God the Painter Number 5

I'll take either path, actually.

Is This an Alien Woman?

Thank God this country still has somewhat of a soul. Apparently the moving in to a mansion by a spoiled, catty, superficial, money grabbing, pimple on the ass of time, no talent, grumpy, shell of a human being bitch has not captured much of an audience. Thank God it went from a mini series to an hour special. NBC has become the dumping grounds of this reality cat litter junk. Man, this summer has been brutal with the singing show... Wait, who approved this? The same high and drunk guy who ok'd the competition bewteen mothers and daughters for the same hunky guy (although I never watched a minute of it, the moms were hotter than the kids). If this was on the only TV station 37 years ago when I lived on the farm, I would have stayed out side til midnight or put a bullet in my head, whichever came first. Hey Posh, can you really get bent like beckham?

A New Exciting Feature Has Been Added to the Blog.

Through the miracle of thechnology, you can now HEAR the stuff I am listening to. If you go the the right and click on the icon under ROCKO RADIO, you will find a playlist of about a thousand songs along with cover art. I will change these songs often but I think you will find some tasty stuff in there. If I was to program a radio station, it would sound pretty much like this. The only drawback is that these songs are played at random. Another is that you can only pick three songs from a particular artist, but in some ways, it really mixes up a bit. You can click ahead or back from each song. I guess you could call 99% of these songs as the soundtrack of my life.
Bookmark it for cool tunage if you want.

Oh, and under the heading of What I Am Diggin On, click on that picture and you'll get 10 minutes of the Big 89 Rewind which featured all the old WLS jocks doing their old shows on Memorial Day..Lujack, Tommy, Fred Winston, Bob Sirrott, John "Records"Landecker and during the ten minutes take a look for my friend Jay, the lucky stiff was there. Hope you like your stay.
Y'all come back now, ya hear?...

The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking

CLINTON, Utah - An 87-year-old Utah man was discovered 2,000 miles away Wednesday in Pennsylvania, less than 48 hours after he was reported missing, police said. How did Andrew Hentz do it? "He mentioned he had hitchhiked," Clinton police Detective Matt Fawbush said. "I wish I knew how he traveled that far. It's mind-boggling."
Hentz has a son in Middletown, Pa., where police found him on a street after midnight Wednesday, Fawbush said. He was examined at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa., and released, according to the hospital. Hentz lives alone in a retirement apartment in Clinton, about 30 miles north of Salt Lake City. A daughter reported him missing Monday around 2 p.m. MDT.
"We received information from the family he may be seeking transportation back to Pennsylvania, where he's from," Fawbush said. "We had checked bus depots, airports. Pretty much nothing as far as leads and tips." Fawbush said he had no other details on Hentz' cross-country journey. Police in Middletown, Pa., did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
"Nice people? A truck driver? We don't know how he did it," Fawbush said.

How Cool!

LONDON (AFP) - After more than 30 years which he spent as a member of one of the world's most successful bands, Queen guitarist Brian May has finally finished his PhD thesis which he began as a student in the 1970s, The Times reported on Thursday.
May, 59, earned a degree in physics at Imperial College London but after years of studying interplanetary dust, he abandoned work towards his doctorate when Queen took off.
His interest in the subject was reignited when he co-authored "Bang! The Complete History of the Universe", which tells the story of the universe from the big bang through its subsequent evolution, and was released last year.
"For the last nine months, I've done nothing except slave over my PhD, which is now written up, thank God," May reportedly told students at a ceremony at Exeter University in southwest Britain when he received an honorary doctorate.
"But there are times when you really want to give up. There are times when you go, 'Why on earth did I take this on?'"
May worked on the PhD between 1971 and 1974, and kept all his hand-written notes on the subject through the years, finally discovering them in his loft recently.
"People are aware he is here and there is a feeling it is pretty cool that he has come back to finish his PhD, even if he has not been hugely visible," Abigail Smith, a spokeswoman for Imperial College, was quoted as saying by The Times.
The rocker will receive his PhD next May, assuming his thesis is approved by supervisors.

Musical Guilty Pleasure

Yes, they were a Cream "rip-off" but the summer of my 14th year, I heard "Mississippi Queen" on the radio. Two minutes and twenty three seconds of crunching nasty bliss. I then went right out and bought "Climbing" from Mountain. What an appropriate name for this band. A Mountain of sound with two of the most underrated rock musicians ever. Leslie West and Corky Laing along with Felix Pappalardi. I remember on the back of the album it said "Made To Be Played Loud" and I did. I had the chance to see Leslie when "The Leslie West Band" opened for Thin Lizzy at the RKO Orpheum Theatre in Davenport circa 1975 or so. Playing rhythm guitar was Mick Jones (previously the guitar player in Spooky Tooth who also featured Gary Wright on vocals and keyboards..my admiration for Spooky Tooth will be documented at the future time). Mick left Leslie's band and put together Foreigner. Leslie also formed West, Bruce and Laing with former Cream bassist Jack Bruce (another loud mafuggin band that I really enjoyed). Corky Laing drummed his ass off and Felix (who was later shot to death by his girlfriend) really laid down some awesome backbeats. Not only could they rock with the best but "Nantucket Sleighride" is one of the most melodic rock songs ever and a real classic in my house. Hats off to "The Fat Man" who in the nineties shed a ton of weight. Thanks for helping shape my musical influences.

My top five Mountain songs:

1. "Nantucket Sleighride"-this is a perfect song especially with the opening "Taunta's Tune"

2. "Mississippi Queen"-the soundtrack to that 14th summer

3."Never In My Life"-wham bam blam thank you ma'am (We need more cowbell)

4."For Yasgur's Farm"-their reflections on their Woodstock performance

5."Theme From An Imaginary Western"-just one of my faves from the farm

Junk Between My Ears

I just saw a new commercial with Betty White in it. Even well into her eighties, she is still a very attractive woman. At one time a "pin up" model, she married Password host Allen Ludden. He die of cancer many years ago. My favorite role of hers was that of Sue Ann Nivens on the Mary Tyler Moore show.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I am addicted to these "World's Most Shocking" crap that comes on Court TV. I just saw "Worlds Most Shocking Dangerous Drivers 3" and watched the whole damn thing. Mind candy...uh wait more like mind cotton candy.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I am getting where I hate the Baseball All Star Game. Joe Buck is grating on me for some reason ( I think he comes across as a smart ass) and Tim McCarver is a constant yak machine. The home run derby was fun, but I am sooo tired of..."back, back ,back ,back, back..it's gone". Can we think of something else? How long is it going to be until one of those kids on the field gets really hurt? Who was the clown with the Tshirt that was spray painted with the advertisement for the barber shop? One last thing...it's the bottom of the ninth, bases loaded, two out and you DON'T have Albert Pujols come up to bat? WTF? Vladimir Guerrero, you have been playing in the major leagues for over a decade and you STILL don't know any English? Just an effort would be nice.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I love my country very much but I just don't understand why we invaded Iraq. This war may be the undoing of the republic. I hope it doesn't happen but I feel a major revolt coming. And we get news today that Al-Queda is now as strong as it was before 9/11. Wait a minute..what the hell have we been doing then? I thought the idea was to fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here. If they attack us here, they won't be messing around, that's for sure. If they do attack us, will W pull the martial law card and suspend the constitution? It doesn't look good kids.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I was listening to Rush gasbag today and he reported that one of the republican senators said that those who oppose the president's "war' policy are "wimps". Then Rush said.."I like that, we're dealing with facts, here". Hey Rush, did you serve? Do you have friends who have kids serving over there? Of course not. It's OK as long as it's not you, huh? Sorry friends, I just get tired of the "chicken hawks" like Dick "I had other commitments"Cheney lining the pockets of the Haliburton investors while hurling invectives and slurs at the people who don't go along with this headlong race into the inferno. As long as I live, I never thought that I would long for Nixon again. These guys make Nixon look like a saint. Is this the best we can do? This is the best government money can buy. And it has. Where oh where is Teddy Roosevelt or Harry Truman when we need them the most?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
A couple of the guys I play basketball with are people that I admire. Pat is 74 and Jules is 77. Both of them hit shots this morning. I just hope to be walking at 74. God bless em.

Sorry for the rant, it has been a good day with me closing some deals and doing a great presentation.

Among inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, his name comes alphabetically after Louis Pasteur. In the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it follows Parliament-Funkadelic. This singular distinction belongs to Les Paul, whose insatiable curiosity and experiments gave us the musical instrument of the modern era - the solid-body electric guitar - and the predominant studio recording technique - multi-tracking. Audacious and indefatigable at every turn of his career - from small-town Waukesha to Harlem music haunts to Hollywood studios - Paul, at age 92, still holds court every Monday night at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City. AMERICAN MASTERS explores the revolutionary results of his drive to create sounds that had "never been heard on earth" when Les Paul: Chasing Sound premieres Wednesday, July 11 8pm Central time.

Signs An Establishment Isn’t Going to Deliver the Service You Expect.

I got this from waiterrant.com. Very good advice, I'd say:

1. There’s an “unsatisfactory” sticker from the Board of Health pasted on the front door. (Ever since the rats at Taco Bell incident the public’s been so picky!)
2. There are glowing restaurant reviews hanging in the lobby for all to see. The only problem? The most recent review is from 1987.
3. No one greets you at the door with a smile and says “Welcome.” That’s because the sexual deviant who owns the place has scared away all the young female hostesses OR the hostess is in the back getting high and/or servicing the owner/headwaiter/chef/sugar daddy customer who told her he’d get her a modeling gig OR the girl’s too busy talking to her agent/boyfriend/therapist/girlfriend/married man she’s having a fling with/ on her cell phone.
4. The waiter greets you by saying, “What up yo?”
5. That same waiter smells like he/she hasn’t bathed in days.
6. The menus are sticky, torn, and out of date.
7. The olive oil on the table is rancid.
8. You smell bleach because some Einstein in the kitchen decided it would be a good idea to swab down the prep area during the dinner rush.
9. The air conditioning/heat doesn’t work.
10. You see a man sitting at one of the back tables surrounded by stacks of bills and crying bitterly. Then you find out that person’s the owner.
11. You try using the bathroom but discover two of the waiters are using it to have sex. (Can we have some privacy please?)
12. When you do get into the bathroom there’s a floater in the toilet and no toilet paper.
13. Think about #12 some more. Now think about the sign “Employees must wash hands.”
14. There’s no air freshener in the toilet either.
15. There’s only COLD waiter in the bathroom sink because the owner is that cheap of a bastard. The liquid soap dispenser is also empty. Please think about #12 and #13.
16. On your way back to your table you catch a glimpse of the kitchen guys and swear you’ve seen all their faces on America’s Most Wanted.
17. When the waiter’s telling you the specials he slips you a note that reads, “Please kill me.”
18. The waiters are inking jail house tattoos into each others arms using the corkscrews on their wine openers.
19. The bartender’s watching some kind of kinky anime porn on the TV over the bar. Ugh! Tentacles! That’s the seafood special tonight folks! . Surf and Smurf!
20. There are no customers in the restaurant and its Saturday night. (DANGER, WILL ROBINSON! DANGER!)
If you walk into a restaurant and see any of these things — run like hell!

10 reasons why america kicks ass

Here's ten reasons why America does it better than anyone else. Happy Independence Day, USA

Will Prom Night Disappear?

It failed to bring Jim Carrey happiness in the award-winning film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but scientists have now developed a way to block and even delete unwanted memories from people's brains.Researchers have found they can use drugs to wipe away single, specific memories while leaving other memories intact. By injecting an amnesia drug at the right time, when a subject was recalling a particular thought, neuro-scientists discovered they could disrupt the way the memory is stored and even make it disappear. The research has, however, sparked concern among parliamentary advisers who insist that new regulations are now needed to control the use of the drugs to prevent them becoming used by healthy people as a "quick fix". But the US scientists behind the research insist that amnesia drugs could be invaluable in treating patients with psychiatric disorders such as post-traumatic stress. In a new study, revealed in the Journal of Psychiatric Research, psychiatrists at McGill University, in Montreal, and Harvard University, in Boston, used an amnesia drug to "dampen" the memories of trauma victims. Prof Karim Nader, of McGill University, said: "When you remember old memories they can become 'unstored' and then have to be 'restored'. "As the memory is getting restored, we gave patients a drug that turns down the emotional part of the memory. It left the conscious part of the memory intact, so they could still remember all the details but without being overwhelmed by the memory." The research suggests memories can be manipulated because they act as if made from glass, existing in a molten state as they are being created, before turning solid. When the memory is recalled, however, it becomes molten again and so can be altered before it once more resets. The drug used by the scientists is thought to disrupt the biochemical pathways that allow the memory to "harden" after it is recalled. The researchers used propranolol, a drug normally used to treat hypertension in heart disease patients but also known to cause memory problems. They treated 19 accident or rape victims for 10 days with the drug or with dummy pills, while they asked to describe their memories of a traumatic event that happened 10 years earlier. A week later, they found that the patients given the drug suffered fewer signs of stress such as raised heart rate when recalling their trauma.
The technique echoes scenes from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, where the characters played by Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet both undergo treatment to delete each other from their memories. In the film, scientists ask the characters to remember their unwanted memories in order to target them with small electric shocks. But the treatment goes drastically wrong, when the characters discover they in fact wanted to hold on to the memories after all. Scientists at New York University have published another new study where they claim to have erased a single memory from the brains of rats while leaving the rest of the animals' memories still intact. The rats were trained to associate two musical tones with a mild electrical shock so that when they heard either of the tones they would brace themselves for a shock. The researchers then gave half the rats a drug, called U0126 and known to cause limited amnesia, when playing one of the musical tones. After the treatment, the rats that had been given the drug no longer associated that particular tone with an imminent shock but still braced themselves upon hearing the second tone, demonstrating only one memory had been deleted. Prof Joseph LeDoux, who led the New York team, said: "Such treatments may have highly specific and potentially permanent effects." The research has alarmed some experts, however, who fear that memory altering drugs could be abused by healthy individuals to delete unwanted memories on a whim.
A new report published by the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, which advises MPs about scientific advances, warned that regulations need to be put in place to restrict the use of any memory-blocking drugs, imposing strict limits on their prescription.
Dr Peter Border, who edited the report, said: "There has been a deafening silence from the regulators about whether or not they might consider licensing pharmaceuticals for use in individuals where there is no medical benefits. There is a need for someone to consider how to regulate these things."

I have nothing to say about this..except "liar, liar pants on fire"

Ipod Tuesday

Today was the 33rd anniversary of the wedding day of my first marriage. I celebrated by mowing the yard. As stated before, I really like mowing my own yard, over the whine of the lawn mower, THIS is where I hatch my plans to take over the world, you can see how far I have gotten. Anyway, had the old Ipod charged and ready to go. With weedeating and some general maintanence in the yard, I was out for about one hour and twenty minutes, here is what came up as I shuffled my way back to...wherever.

We started with..
Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey - Paul McCartney...one of my faves from him
Unchained-Van Halen...underrated Fair Warning disc
Dragonfly-Mahogany Rush..from IV a very fine release from 1976
In From The Storm-Hendrix..nuff said
The Fool and Me-Robin Trower..another Raley Hall of Fame album
