The Music Bidness 2007 part 2


Well, it's nice that all of those things are checked...but maybe it's me, but the first thing that should be checked is....is she any good? Can she sing?
I don't think they sold Janis Joplin this way, I might be wrong, though.

Thanks to American Idol we get quantity, not quality. Can you seen John, Paul, George, or Ringo making it through the first round of AI auditions? Or if they had been test-marketed and airplay determined by focus groups and You Tube hits?
