Drew Dimmel

Drew Dimmel is one of the coolest guys I know. I met Drew back in 1979 when he was the weather guy at Channel 9 in Kansas City. He had a set of pipes on him that was a gift from God. Good looking guy and a nice cat, too. Imagine my shock and disbelief when I saw him in an ad for Stem Cell Research. Drew has Parkinsons disease and apparently it's got a hold on him. I actually shed a tear when I saw it.

He doesn't desreve this. No one does. I try not to be too political on this blog but this amendment needs to be passed. Godspeed, Drew Dimmel.

THE SECRET NEITHER SIDE MENTIONS
IS ....YOU CAN'T TRADEMARK OR COPYRIGHT STEMCELLS FROM AN ADULT . I.E. YOU CAN'T MAKE MONEY !

IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY , NOT THE
GOOD OF MANKIND AS SOME WOULD HAVE
YOU BELIEVE .

As a diabetic, jamming needles in my arms, legs, and stomach four times a day, and seeing membrs of my family do the same, while others suffer from other diseases, I, too, wish to God they'd pass this initiative.

But...like a cure for the common cold, in my opinion...it's OUT there, but imagine all the cold and flu drug companies we'd put out of business if the virus just simply didn't exist anymore!

The nicest woman in our office, 43, with three kids, one is second grade just found out she has ALS. I have relative with diabeties, father-in-law had Parkinsons. What I have read points to the fact that this is needed, NOW. There are some benefactors in K.C. willing to donate millions for research. Please ask your friends to vote and vote for this initative.

Sorry for the Rant

I agree with kdillon completely.

My grandpa died of Parkinson's. My favorite uncle died of leukemia.

I am completely convinced that there are at least a few diseases that have been cured but Big Pharma is making too much money from 'treating' patients to be curing them.
