yes ! THRESHOLD is a work of art .
unlike anything else ever done before or since by them or anyone
and all in 1969 I think . that
mellotron sound is the single creepiest sound in the world of music .
and I'll only add one to the list
cause I could add 100....got to
have JOURNEY TO LOVE by STANLEY
    CLARKE on the list.....oh and
the GO album from YAMASHTA WINWOOD
    SHRIEVES...and CARAVANSERAI from
    THE SANTANA BAND raley rocks!

    Great Choices,

Also, add any album from the Alan Parsons project, but especially Tales of Mystery and Imagination. Also on the note with Alice Cooper, add the albums, Goes to Hell, Lace and Whiskey and From the Inside. Interesting concept albums.

Your list is a fine list. I would suggest adding:

Songs In the Key of Life-Stevie Wonder

The 12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus-Spirit

Every Rolling Stones Album from Beggers Banquet through Exiles On Main Street

    Physical Grafitti-Led Zepelin

    Before and After Science-Brian Eno

And finally, I would suggest a sub-category...The best LIVE albums. That's a category you hardly ever hear discussed and there are some truly great live albums that are worth every minute you spend listening to them.

Glad to see someone added Alan Parsons. Surprised you didn't have this band in your original list Randy!

  12. QUADROPHENIA is my favorite album of all time.
WHO ARE YOU is often overlooked
Anything by Mansun (band out of Chester, UK...2nd best band ever, behind The Who).
    THE STONE ROSES
    MOSELEY SHOALS, Ocean Colour Scene
    TIME'S UP, Living Colour
VIOLATOR and MUSIC FOR THE MASSES, Depeche Mode
    MASTER OF PUPPETS, MetallicA
