I have lived in Denver when it has snowed like this. Give me a house about 9,000 feet up somewhere around Estes or Breckinridge, some tunes, wine, some Rossingnol 140s and watch me be thrilled. It really doesn't get any better than that.
I'm completely with you, my friend. I can't think of a better way to spend the winter than in a cabin somewhere around Bailey, Colorado. Great, cool summers and bitchingly cold, snowy winters. I would LOVE that. Too bad there's not high-speed internet available up there, I'd be all over it.
