I was really disappointed with it during my trip there last month--one too many Hip-Hop stations, not one decent Oldies station, the talk stations were bland and so were the Rock stations. The only one I liked was a college Rock station out of Boulder that played Frank Zappa.<BR/><BR/>I'm shocked that Kansas City "almost made the list" (?!?). KC has to be one of the dullest radio markets on the planet! We have two classic Rock stations that sound almost identical, three Country stations that also sound almost identical, two ultra-conservative News/Talk stations, four all-Sports stations (which is two too many) that all suck, two Adult Contemporary stations that run wall-to-wall Christmas music every year (two too many again), and not a single old-school Oldies station (on AM or FM).<BR/> <BR/>Then again, like you say, it's a very subjective thing, and we each have differing agendas when it comes to radio, but I'll gladly swap KC's radio market for St. Louis' anytime!Brian Hollandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15093201252403779991noreply@blogger.com
